Greencarrier Consolidators has added a new Container Freight Station (CFS) in Warsaw, Poland, strengthening its consolidation network in Central Europe.
The facility is a Class A warehouse with 5,000 m² of space and a storage height of up to 9 meters. It is equipped with high-bay racking, a fire protection system and 24-hour security.
The warehouse is located at Stefana Batorego 4, 05-870 Błonie, and operates Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 18:00. It serves as a temporary storage facility supporting both consolidation and deconsolidation of shipments, with a primary focus on consolidation services.
The location in Central Poland provides good access to the country’s main road network. The facility is situated close to the intersection of the A1 motorway, connecting northern and southern Poland, and the A2 motorway, which links eastern and western parts of the country and continues into Germany. This connects the Warsaw CFS with Greencarrier Consolidators’ other CFS locations in Gdańsk, Balice and Hamburg.
“Many of our customers operate in Central Poland and have asked for a consolidation point in this region. The new CFS near Warsaw improves access to our network and enables customers to shorten delivery times and reduce road transport costs,” says Błażej Wiloch, Branch Manager, Greencarrier Consolidators Poland.
The new CFS also improves accessibility for customers in Central and Eastern Poland, where road networks are better connected to the Warsaw region than to northern or southern parts of the country.
