Key trade hub connections

Hamburg, as one of the primary gateways for Greencarrier Consolidators, serves as a critical hub linking multiple trade routes. To enhance connectivity between Hamburg and the two Polish Container Freight Stations (CFS) located in Gdynia and Kraków – the company’s own controlled container service provides greater operational control and efficiency.

“With our own container, we can offer more flexible departures and competitive pricing for our customers. This investment reflects our commitment to meeting the growing demand for LCL cargo shipping across this crucial trade corridor,” says Tim Jurischka, CEO Region CEE at Greencarrier Consolidators.

Weekly trucking schedule and future expansion

The service currently operates on a weekly trucking schedule, transporting cargo seamlessly between the CFS in Gdynia and Kraków to and from Hamburg. Plans are already underway to expand the frequency to twice per week while ensuring balanced import and export flows.

In addition, Greencarrier Consolidators aims to extend its service network to include the Czech Republic, broadening its reach within central Europe and strengthening its market position.

“This investment allows us to handle our customers’ LCL cargo through the entire supply chain, from Gdynia and Kraków to Hamburg and beyond. Our aim is not only to increase frequency but also to provide a customer-focused solution that simplifies logistics for businesses operating in this region,” says Robert Klukowski, Country Manager Greencarrier Consolidators Poland.

A gateway to global trade

Hamburg’s role as a gateway to major global trade lanes underscores the importance of an efficient inland service. By linking Gdynia and Krakow with Hamburg more effectively, Greencarrier Consolidators enables their customers to access broader markets.
