They have arrived and due to unrest in the country, PLAN International (who will distribute the water cans) has decided to wait with the distribution until the beginning of the autumn term. However, the team in place in Burkina Faso has already begun to prepare and learn how Solvatten works.

“Burkina Faso has come a long way as a country but access to clean water is still a common issue. Solvatten kits will be a big support to help with this question and reduce absences of students due to the prevalence of waterborne illnesses. It will also greatly help improve hygiene conditions and practices through training and sensitization.” – Cyriaque Yelemou, Program Manager, Plan International Burkina Faso
